Introduction

This Cookie Policy describes the use of cookies and other tracking tools on the website www.antiqa.it and in the services made available through the Antiqa platform (the "Platform"), setting out their purposes and how the User can manage their preferences.

This Cookie Policy supplements the privacy notice available on the Platform. Go to the Privacy Policy

Data Controller

The Data Controller is Antiqa S.r.l., with registered office at Via San Paolo 232, 59100 Prato (PO), Italia, VAT number 02640580979, e-mail: privacy@antiqa.it.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the websites visited by the User send to and store on the device used for browsing, to be sent back to those same sites on subsequent visits.

Cookies may be installed directly by the Platform (first-party cookies) or by parties other than Antiqa through services or features embedded in the Platform (third-party cookies).

Depending on their duration, cookies may be session cookies, when they are deleted at the end of the browsing session, or persistent cookies, when they remain stored on the User’s device until they expire or are deleted.

Types of cookies

Depending on the services and features activated, the Platform uses or may use the following categories of cookies and other tracking tools.

Technical or necessary cookies: they are used to allow the Platform to work correctly and the services requested by the User to be provided, for example to manage authentication and the session, ensure the security of payments, prevent fraud and abuse and store certain preferences of the User. These cookies do not require the User’s consent.

Analytics cookies: they are used to collect information on the use of the Platform, such as the number of visitors, the pages visited and how the services are interacted with, in order to produce statistics and improve the operation and performance of the Platform. Where these tools do not meet the requirements to be treated as technical cookies under the applicable legislation, their use is subject to the User’s consent.

Profiling and marketing cookies: they may be used to analyse the User’s preferences and interactions with the Platform, build profiles of their interests and display personalised content or advertising. These cookies are used only with the User’s prior consent.

Functionality and preference cookies: they allow certain choices made by the User to be stored, such as the language or other settings of the Platform, in order to provide requested features and make the browsing experience consistent with the preferences expressed. Where these tools are necessary to provide a feature expressly requested by the User, they may be used without consent; in other cases they are used as provided for by the applicable legislation.

Cookies used by the Platform

The table below lists the cookies and other storage tools currently used by the Platform, with their provider, purpose, type and duration. Tools that are not cookies in the strict sense — entries kept in the browser’s localStorage — are marked as such in the "Type" column.

The analytics tools listed in the table are written to your device only after you have accepted that category: before your choice, nothing is installed beyond the technical cookies.

To count page visits the Platform uses Vercel Web Analytics. The tool installs no cookies, stores nothing on your device and keeps no identifier that would allow you to be recognised from one visit to the next: it collects the count in aggregate form and therefore does not appear in the table above, which lists cookies and local storage entries. For the same reason it is not subject to your consent.

To measure how quickly pages load the Platform uses Vercel Speed Insights. Like Vercel Web Analytics, it installs no cookies, stores nothing on your device and keeps no identifier that would allow you to be recognised: it collects loading times in aggregate form. For this reason it does not appear in the table above and is not subject to your consent.

Session recording. If you accept analytics cookies, PostHog records how you use the pages (scrolling, movements and clicks), to find errors and improve the site. The content of the fields you fill in is not recorded, your IP address is anonymised and the Antiqa administration area is excluded. Recordings are kept for 30 days on PostHog’s European servers.

Subject to the User’s consent to profiling and marketing cookies and tools, the Platform uses the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns run through Facebook and Instagram, to attribute visits and conversions to those advertisements and to make advertising activities more relevant.

Through the Meta Pixel, information about the pages visited and the interactions carried out on the Platform may be transmitted to Meta, such as opening a product page, adding a product to favourites, clicking the "Buy now" command, completing a purchase and subscribing to the newsletter. Depending on the event, the product identifier, the price, the currency and, in the case of a purchase, an order identifier used to avoid duplicating the event may also be transmitted.

Antiqa does not use the Advanced Matching or Conversions API features and, within the configuration adopted, does not transmit to Meta through the Pixel the User’s name, e-mail address, telephone number or account identifiers.

The Meta Pixel is activated solely subject to the User’s consent to the "Profiling and marketing" category. Without that consent the Pixel is not activated. Should the User subsequently withdraw consent, the Pixel is deactivated and the related cookies are removed from the device, in accordance with the arrangements technically implemented by the Platform.

The table is updated whenever cookies or other tracking tools used by the Platform are introduced, changed or removed.

Managing consent and preferences

Technical cookies and the other tools strictly necessary for the Platform to work or for a service expressly requested by the User to be provided may be used without the need to obtain consent.

Where, on the other hand, the use of cookies or other tracking tools requires consent, those tools are activated only following the User’s choice made through the banner or the preference management tool available on the Platform.

The User may accept or refuse the various categories of non-necessary cookies and may change or withdraw at any time the preferences previously expressed, through the dedicated tool available on the Platform. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To change your choice at any time, use the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.

Not giving consent to the use of non-necessary cookies does not prevent access to the Platform or to those of its features that do not require such tools.

With specific reference to the Meta Pixel, that tracking tool is kept deactivated until the User’s possible consent to the "Profiling and marketing" category. The User may subsequently withdraw that consent through the preference management tool available on the Platform.

Managing cookies through your browser

The User may also manage, delete or disable cookies through the settings of the browser used. Disabling technical cookies may, however, impair the correct operation of the Platform or prevent the use of some features.

Processing of personal data and rights of the data subject

For more information on how Antiqa processes personal data, on the parties to whom the data may be disclosed, on any transfers to third countries, on retention periods and on the rights granted by arts. 15 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR"), the User can consult the Privacy Policy available on the Platform. Updates to this Cookie Policy

Antiqa may update this Cookie Policy as a result of changes in legislation or technology, or changes to the services and tools used by the Platform. The updated version will be made available on the website.

When the Cookie Policy changes, the banner is shown to you again: a choice made on the previous version is not taken as given on the new one.
