Your rights as a buyer

Legal guarantee of conformity

The European harmonised notice, as required by law. It applies to every piece bought on Antiqa.

European Union harmonised notice on the legal guarantee. Minimum two-year legal guarantee for goods sold in the European Union. Some countries provide for a longer period; for second-hand goods a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year. Consumers can rely on their rights if the goods do not match the description or do not work as expected. Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery that becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period, and must offer free repair or replacement and, in some cases, a price reduction or a full refund. If you receive goods that are not in conformity: contact the seller as soon as possible to report the problem and provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, an invoice or a bank statement. What this means on Antiqa

The legal guarantee is provided by the seller of the piece, not by Antiqa. It lasts 12 months from delivery and covers defects already present at that moment. The notice above states the general rule of two years: for second-hand goods the law allows a shorter period, provided it is not less than one year, and every piece on Antiqa is a second-hand item. It is a different thing from the right of withdrawal, which lets you send the piece back within 14 days without giving a reason.

If the piece is not as described

Write to us from "My orders" or at support@antiqa.it. We put you in touch with the seller and follow the case through to the end.
