Have a ring that fits? Measure it.

Lay it on the ruler.
Measure from inside edge to inside edge.
Look that diameter up in the table.

Do not have one? Use a strip of paper.

Wrap it around the base of your finger, without pulling.
Mark where it overlaps.
Measure it in millimetres: that is the circumference, look it up in the table.

If you are between two sizes take the larger one: a slightly loose ring can be worn, a tight one cannot.

Where resizing is possible, the listing says so. And in any case you have 14 days to return the piece.

On a period piece, widening a setting can ruin it: where resizing is not offered, the size is final.

Fingers change through the day and with temperature: if you can, measure at the end of the day, when they are at their largest. On a wide band go up half a size, and if your knuckle is bigger than your finger, the knuckle decides.
